The main difference between Eyeleds® Outdoor Basic and Eyeleds® Outdoor Pro concerns the way of installation.
Eyeleds® Outdoor Pro is installed as a “plug and play” system by means of a high quality IP67 plug connector system. At projects of considerable size Eyeleds® Outdoor Pro is preferred as the higher cost of materials is then eliminated by a substantial benefit on the required time needed to carry out the installation.
The flexible PUR cabling of both Eyeleds® Outdoor Pro and Basic is resistant against UV light, dehydration and is suitable for direct burial. The 12V system is powered by “intelligent” weather proof transformers which will automatically switch off in case of problems like for example a short circuit situation. Eyeleds® Outdoor Pro is available in a wide variety of finishes and light colours. For these reasons, Outdoor Pro is the most preferred system at both professional installers and consumers.
