With PowerEye, EYELEDS® responds to the large demand for more light capacity. In addition to its role as trendsetter and market leader as a lighting brand in the flooring market, EYELEDS® also sees potential for its product in the furniture and interior industry, due to its fitting depth of a mere 6.5mm, its ease of installation, its extremely long life span and its low heat emanation.
Originally, EYELEDS® was used as accent, decoration, emergency or marker lighting, but the PowerEye and its impressive light production, which can be compared to a 10-12 Watt halogen lamp, fills a gap in the market.
The K2 PowerLED is unique in its type and distinguishes itself through its impressive light production per watt. The advantages of this are less heat, more light and the use of less energy.
Just like all other EYELEDS® products, the PowerEye is easy to install (conforming to the usual standards) and its construction is extremely strong and solid, as is normal for Eyeleds.
The PowerEye is available in 2 versions, the open version, which scatters and diffuses the light at a 360 degree angle, and the focused variety, which bundles the light in a spot at an angle of 180 degrees. The light colours: 'Cool White' and 'Warm White' are now available.
The diffuse variety is perfect for open spaces and for general lighting purposes. The focused version creates a bundled floodlight, which can be used to light walls or floors without looking straight into the fitting.
PowerEye has a multitude of applications, as its high light production is very suitable for functional lighting under-shelf lighting, cabinet lighting, wall & stair lighting, under roof overhangs, in wall tiles, profiles and many more. It can be used for garages, corridors and stairs and it can even be integrated into furniture.
Due to its exceptional life span (>100,000 MTBF) maintenance of the lighting system is virtually redundant. In the unlikely event that a PowerEye fails, a repair kit is available, which can be used to easily change the PowerEye fitting.
