Gradus Flooring Accessories Occupy The British High Commission In Malta | 24 Feb 2003 |
A range of Gradus flooring accessories have been specified at the British High Commission in Malta, helping to meet both the performance and aesthetic requirements of this high profile refurbishment project.
Redeveloped by Salmon Ltd, the exterior of the building was retained for its architectural and historic value but the project saw the entire interior completely renovated and upgraded.
The interior finishes were supplied by the Better Living Centre - a local interior finishes contractor and distributor - and a collection of flooring products including Gradus floor trims and carpet capping were chosen to complete the flooring surfaces.

Part of the new flooring design saw 1400m2 of carpet tiles fitted with an integrated 100mm of Gradus skirting in the colour Almond. The skirting was fitted up the wall of all the offices and corridors to establish a protective, yet coordinated and decorative finish. It was topped off with Gradus Carpet Capping in the colour Granite.
Due to the varied use of flooring surfaces selected, the project team, Martin Xuereb and Associates specified 112m of Gradus Clip-Top to ensure a safe transition between carpet and ceramic tile flooring, as well as to protect the carpet edging.
Gradus is based in the UK and as part of its accessories division offers a range of flooring finishes including stair edgings, trims, skirting, entrance matting and also step and aisle safety lighting. Gradus also manufactures carpets in broadloom, impervious and tile and upholstery and soft furnishing fabrics applicable for a range of contract markets including healthcare, education, leisure and the commercial sector.
