Fabric Architecture worked closely with Property Development Company Applied Solutions to deliver a tensile fabric walkway connecting 125 metres of retail shops at The St Andrew's Quay Retail Park, Humberside. Situated less than 100 metres from the waves, the cantilevered design of the new build walkway creates a visual continuity in joining the existing shops, drawing the eye to the curvature of the canopy and away from the irregular shop fronts. The openings of the walkway can thereby be centered to the doors and not to the building grid. Fabric Architecture undertake design manufacture and design of all types of tensile structres.
