Noberne Doors Ltd continue to be involved in some of the most prestigious projects, the latest one completed by them being The Gateshead Music Centre.
The project was undertaken for works package contractors Abrahams & Carlisle Ltd working for Laing O'Rouke main contractor and architects Foster & Partners.
Several hundred doors were supplied against a very tight programme involving a high level of co-ordination between Noberne and Abrahams & Carlisle.
The specification was of high standard requiring the use of special density materials for acoustic requirements. A variety of specially constructed doors were required to the lobby areas and stage areas, being extremely tall and wide.
The building will provide a focal point for the region and give facilities which are amongst the best in the UK.
