    TIMBERporte doorset supplied at Southwick

John Porter Ltd continue to be involved in number of the Government run Sure Start projects, the latest one completed is at Southwick, Sunderland.

Walter Thompson began work on the Sure Start in July 2004 and John Porters supplied over 70 doorsets against a very tight programme which involved a high level of co-ordination between the two companies. The varied specification included steamed beech and primed paint grade faced doorsets with John Porter’s supplying labour to fit the doors and frames on site, together with the ironmongery.

John Porter Ltd founded in 1932, is a privately owned firm of specialist joinery manufacturers with the skills and facilities to produce a wide range of timber components to match individual specifications in a full range of finishes and suit all requirements.
