Jay Fernandez, sponsored by Space Air, is back in the lead of the 2005 MRO SuperTwins Championship after two tough rounds at Knockhill and Cadwell Park. Jay was down to second place after trouble with his bike at Knockhill and really had his work cut out at Cadwell Park if he wanted to regain his lead. Unfortunately there were more problems to come at Cadwell including a controversial start to race 1, with an incident leaving many of the riders, assuming there would be a restart, but the race continued. Despite this, Jay still managed to finish in 2nd place. Race 2 was less eventful and Jay managed another 2nd place finish - behind a much faster Powerbike - regaining his overall championship lead by just 1 point. Looks as though it will be nail-biting final rounds at Pembrey and Brands Hatch.
