Sanctuary's elevated lunch break |
Sanctuary Housing Association's 70 busy staff had no dedicated area on site to take a lunch break, until recently, when Sharon Standell, the national charity's London regional director, formerly opened a new rest room for staff to take a break and even prepare their own light meals if they wish to.
Complete with decking, potted plants and two double patio doors, the new 8.4 x 3.6 metre prefabricated 'Citycabin' from Wickford, Essex based Wernick Hire Ltd was craned, in one lift, 150 feet onto the roof of Sanctuary's three storey office block in Lymington Avenue, Wood Green. It was then provided with a fitted kitchen, attractive pavement café furniture and an enclosed link to the building's staircase.
"We could only go upwards to provide the rest room", said Sharon Standell, "and Wernick have done a fantastic job in getting us this new facility in place on time."
