Wernick Event Hire benefits from £40m investment | 31 Oct 2006 |
Wernick Event Hire are all set to benefit from the £40m investment in acquisitions and organic growth that chief executive David Wernick is rolling out across the Wernick Group of Companies.
In the third acquisition made by the company in 12 months, Brownhills based Wernick Event Hire has acquired the cabin division of SGB Eventlink. The companies have also forged a reciprocal trading agreement that will give a comprehensive and integrated hire service to their event industry customers nationwide.
Wernick Event Hire provides a range of event accommodation including portable hospitality units, toilets, showers and disabled facilities. SGB Eventlink are suppliers of temporary infrastructure equipment that includes grandstands, fencing, barriers, staging and temporary roadways. The new agreement will provide both companies clients with a 'one stop shop' from their extensive combined stocks.
This latest strategic acquisition increases Wernick's event fleet by more than 200 specialist units. Additionally, over 18,000 buildings are available through Wernick Hire's 27 local depots, making them one of the largest providers in the UK.
David Wernick commented, "This reciprocal trading agreement will substantially increase the existing client base of both our companies and enable us to drive forward into the 2007 season from a position of strength".
David Wernick, chief executive of the Wernick Group of Companies.
