Corus claims runner up spot at B2B Marketing Awards. | 8 Nov 2006 |
Corus Colors has claimed the runner up spot at this year's B2B Marketing Awards 2006 in the Best B2B Brand Awareness Campaign category. The awards ceremony is the biggest ever business-to-business marketing event in Europe, and was attended by leading companies across many different industries. "The judges were very impressed both with the creative and strategic approach to the Corus Colorcoat® campaign" commented Joel Harrison, editor of B2B Magazine, the organisers of the event. It is the first time Corus has been represented at these particular awards and follows on from last year's successes in two awards at the Construction Marketing Awards. Other names competing in the category included Hitachi and BOC Industrial. The ceremony took place on 1 November, at Vinopolis near London Bridge, and was hosted by political journalist and satirist Matthew Parris. Ana Cruz, brand manager at Corus Colors added, "We feel very proud of the Colorcoat® products and services and the value they add in the construction market. This comes across in the passion we have for delivering the Colorcoat® mark of quality and expertise. The accolade reinforces the fact that we are on the right path and continue to make a difference in the market place".
