Situated in the heart of London, the award winning London Wetland Centre holds more than 40 hectares of created wetlands. This Site of Special Scientific Interest allows hundreds of thousands of visitors the chance to see a huge diversity of wetland wildlife, and recently SSP was proud to be involved in creating a playground area for children. Innovative and exciting use of blue as well as green artificial grass created a particularly appropriate "pond" area as well as grassy banks.
Additionally, SSP installed safety surfacing underneath play equipment specifically designed to give an appropriate Critical Fall Height. This was achieved by using environmentally friendly ProPlay Impact Matting installed beneath the artificial grass.
