The recent purchase of a new Weinig Powermat 500 six cutter brings Noberne's capital investment in the last five years to £600,000.
Jonathan Agar, managing director at Noberne says: "We aim to make at least one major capital investment every year, to ensure that we are providing our customers with high quality products that are manufactured in the most efficient and effective way."
"The new Weinig Powermat 500 is an automatic planer and moulder, manufactured by a market leading German company, which is known for its combination of experience and innovation that sets new standards again and again."
Other new machinery in recent years includes a CNC machine, a calibrator and a veneer line. As well as the investment in machinery there is also a continuous proframme of investment in people at Noberne with regular in-house and external training course.
