Sign 2000, the Kent based architectural sign manufacturer and installer has linked up with Workshop 2, the specialist Modular Sign System and display design company to bring their innovative range of products to market.

Sign 2000 are making four systems available; - Modular Sign System; FSS Footprint - Free Standing System; DSS - Display System Signage and the stunning new VERTICO frameless display system.
Modular Sign System features a stylish and flexible solution for all internal sign requirements and is extensively utilised in many hotels and leisure facilities as well as in governmental and corporate premises, educational establishments and public buildings.
The system is a simple assembly of strong, lightweight but durable extruded interchangeable aluminium profiles offering great flexibility and incorporating a hidden tamper-proof locking device.
Modular Sign System from Sign 2000 offers more profiles and fixing options than any similar system with each profile capable of being replaced independently to change the message or instruction. Profiles are securely held in place by integral dovetails.
Signs are just 6mm thick with no visible frames or fixings. They can be single or double sided without affecting the thickness. There is no restriction as to the size of the sign and they have the benefit of requiring no specialist maintenance.
The FSS Footprint range provides a selection of freestanding signs that are ideally suited to displaying temporary information by means of posters or brochures where wall mounted information is not possible.
FSS Footprint is used extensively in exhibitions and point-of-sale and is ideal for hotel lobbies, reception areas, conference centres, restaurants, showrooms, museums and any retail environment.
The FSS Footprint base consists of two anodised hinged extrusions available in either an aerofoil or linear section. The base is available as a standard 325mm width or can be manufactured up to 1000mm width. Hinges are available in three different sizes to hold 10mm, 12mm and 18mm thick panels. A clamp underneath the unit tightens to hold the panels in place.
Panels are made from two sheets of 5mm toughened glass manufactured to BS6206 class A. They can be decorated with vinyl graphics, silkscreen prints, etching or sandblasting or a combination of these.
The FSS Footprint display system is complemented by a stylish brochure rack system made from an extruded tray, supported by rods and fixed to the panels with bosses.
DSS 2.0 is a fit-and-forget- display solution that can accommodate posters, transparencies and temporary information. Illumination can be provided by LEDs with a long lamp life. It can be used both internally and externally and is available in sizes A1, A2, A3 and A4. Any other size up to 1 metre square can be manufactured.
Internal mounting options include a foam panel which holds the poster against the glass door; a pinboard; a magnetic board and an illuminated poster using an acrylic diffuser and low-tack adhesive.

Vertico can be illuminated using 'fit it and forget it' LED technology.
