Keeping cool by the riverside with Fabric Architecture | 22 May 2007 |
Pupils and teachers at Kew Riverside have welcomed the installation of five tilted Iron Mountain structures in the school playground. Each structure shades the new classrooms during the hottest part of the day and provide a sheltered area for teaching and play.
The green PVC canopy contrasts with the galvanised steel finish, and is one of 7 colours available in this fabric. Steelwork can be painted to any RAL colour, matching school colours or surrounding buildings.
A wide range of standard products are available from Fabric Architecture, designed with school applications in mind. A selection of these products are modular, offering flexibility in layout, and can be extended when required or when funds become available.
