Celcon aircrete products company H+H UK has become one of the first manufacturers in the construction industry to achieve BSI accreditation for its Integrated Management System (IMS).
The IMS pulls together the company’s three individual management systems for quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001) and health and safety (OHSAS 18001) to produce one coordinated, fully integrated system. A common set of procedures and documentation is now used throughout the company, covering all aspects of what were previously three separate systems. This is much more efficient, avoiding conflicts of the different disciplines and saving management time.

In July, H+H UK became the first aircrete manufacturer and the first company in the pre-cast concrete industry to achieve accreditation under the Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme (EEAS), the UK’s independent benchmark for energy efficiency.
