Oxfordshire Guides get smart new HQ | 7 Nov 2007 |
Girl Guides in and around Oxford have a brand new training centre. The modular building, designed and built by Wernick Buildings, is sited alongside an existing campsite at Stanton St John. It will be used as a residential centre for the 6,000 members of Girlguiding Oxfordshire. It will also provide training facilities for leaders and will be the meeting place for local and county groups as well as housing the County Archive Store.
Keith Roberts, of Roberts Consulting, the agent for Guiding Oxfordshire wrote to Wernick Buildings, I take this opportunity to thank you for the way in which Wernick Buildings has undertaken the design and construction of the New Jubilee House, giving Oxfordshire Girlguiding a building which they can be proud of for many years.
