Argeton the original terracotta rainscreens | 21 Apr 2008 | Telling Architectural has gained BBA approval under certificate number 08/4516 for their Argeton Terracotta Rainscreens. The certificate covers the full range of Argeton tile formats in 13 colours and upon three support systems for timber, steel and masonry structures.
This supplements existing CWCT and seismic test data.
A new kiln at the Argeton plant has doubled capacity and expanded the range of tiles available to 400mm in height and up to 1500mm in length. A further expansion is planned later in 2008 to reduce lead times and meet expanding volume demands.
Competitive in material cost and installation Telling Architectural continue to support their façade sales with in-house design facilities.
Improved weathering and dirt resistance properties have been developed under the engobe production method reducing porosity and enhancing the range of fired surfaces and colours available.
