When Gosh Group Properties sought a specification for security shutters to fifty-four window and door openings, the Cavilintel by Cavity Trays of Yeovil was immediately the choice.
The Cavilintel is a load-bearing lintel with a built-in security shutter in its centre. The shutter is hidden within but descends and rises at the press of a button. The shutter ends glide within insulated closer channels in the cavity, so no surface fixings or projections are present to affect the external appearance of the building. It also means the edges of the shutter are not surface accessible to intruders but instead are safely out of sight behind the masonry.
The Cavilintel should not be confused with alternatives. The unique Cavilintel package is supplied with accompanying cavitrays, caviweeps and stopends. No other lintel/shutter package offers such accompanying tailor-made protective details from the Cavity Trays range, so the Cavilintel system does not rely on site operatives fabricating the damp protection aspects – an important consideration.
