Risk assessments show Pendock Safeheat is safer |
Risk Assessments produced by Pendock show that the risk to cleaners from Easi-Clean is considerably less than for hinged radiator guards.
As the guards increase in size the difference between the low risk Easi-Clean and hinged guards increase dramatically.

Paul Hetherington, Managing Director of Alumasc IBP, the company behind Pendock commented.
"Clearly Alumasc has the capability to produce a hinged panel but at Alumasc Health & Safety is our number 1 priority and all design decisions must take account of this.
I would rather lose sales than supply products that we do not believe can be safely cleaned and are up to Pendock standards."
These types of guards also cause space difficulties and further Health & Safety worries when furniture needs to be moved to enable cleaning, unlike Pendock SafeHeat Easi-Clean.
