The Swish Roofline range offers specifiers an integrated barge-board, fascia and soffit system with a wide range of components for new build and replacement projects. Swish Building Products is ISO 9001 registered.

Swish cellular PVC represents an environmentally responsible use of plastics. As recommended by the European Commission, Parliament and UK Government, Swish cellular PVC does not contain lead. With more than a decade of production based on this formulation, specifiers have real time evidence of the colourfastness of Swish white cellular PVC profiles, which are now backed by a 15 Year Guarantee against discolouration. When eventually replaced it can be easily identified, and full recycled.

Composition and manufacture
Swish cellular PVC is an extruded, foamed material with an integral smooth and durable skin. It can be cut, drilled, nailed and routed using conventional tools. It is light to handle, easy to fix and does not require painting or subsequent treatment after installation. It is also durable and weather resistant, and does not rot, warp, flake or peel.

Swish cellular PVC profiles have been assessed and awarded British Standards Kitemark (KM 33730) and British Board of Agrément (91/2620) certification.

Fascias
Swish Jumbo^TM profiles fascia boards designed to replace existing timber fascias. Swish Jumbo^TM boards are available in 3 profile styles Square, Ogee (Taurus) and Bullnose and were the first PVC boards to be certified by the BBA as load bearing in respect of guttering and all types of eaves tiles in common usage in the UK. Gutter brackets may be fitted directly to Jumbo^TM boards when installed in accordance with Swish technical guidelines.

Decorative barge-boards
The Swish Roofstyle system is composed of moulded decorative sections which enable the creation of individual roof designs by varying the combination of concave, convex and straight pieces and the pattern cut at the roof apex. The system can directly replace or be fitted over wooden or PVC bargeboards. Alternatively extruded cellular PVC Decorative Roofline boards are available in Convex or Concave patterns. Individual designs may be specified subject to quantity and production constraints.

Over-capping
Cappit^TM and Cappair^TM are refurbishment profiles, with a return leg for lay-on soffit, designed for the over-capping of existing roofline, where it can be demonstrated that the substrate is sound.

Standard Cappit^TM is flat-backed for flush fitting over existing fascias and bargeboards.

Ogee Cappit^TM and Cappair^TM feature raised ribs on the back. In addition Cappair™ is cross routed to reduce the risk of moisture build-up.

Eaves Ventilation
Swish Polo^TM ventilated soffit boards comply with UK Building regulations for new build applications and provide the equivalent of either a 10 or 25mm air path.

Tee Gee Polo and Open V tongue-and-grooved boards contain a single row of slots and are suitable for wide ‘feature’ soffits.

Strip ventilators have slotted profiles that meet all roofline ventilation requirements, in conjunction with either Swish Gee Pee^TM or other soffit boards.

Jumbotec^TM is designed for eaves protection. Easily applied as a felt replacement, it is of benefit in refurbishment work where eaves deterioration of the felt has already occurred.

Jumbovent^TM is used where ventilation is required over the fascia. Installed along the whole roofline, it will provide an airway equivalent to a continuous 10mm air path.

Finish and appearance
Swish Roofline components are supplied as standard in white. Coloured and woodgrain effect, foiled finishes are also available.

Dimensions
Swish Jumbo™ fascia profiles are supplied in standard 5m lengths across 7 widths from 150mm to 405mm. Nine widths of Cappit™ boards are available up to 605mm. Non standard lengths can be supplied to order.

Sitework
Products are light and may be worked using standard carpentry tools. Fixing centres should not be less than 600mm for white installations. Coloured and foiled products are subject to reduced fixing centres and special installation instructions. The company’s roofline and cladding products are available through a nationwide network of independent distributors.
