Anti-Shatter/Bomb Blast Mitigation Film combined with one of Solarshields Edge Retention or Glass Anchoring Systems provides the greatest possible protection in the event of an explosion, violent attack, accidental impact or spontaneous glass breakage.
These advanced battening systems are designed to give existing filmed glass and frames maximum strength and effectiveness. Although Security/Bomb Blast Mitigation Films perform extremely well in their own right, once it has held the fragmented glass together, in some instances extra protection is required to give additional strength and support to keep the filmed pane within the frame or glazed system.
Solarshield have developed and tested many types of Edge Retention and Glass Anchoring Systems, which are designed to provide maximum protection. Each system is tailored to suit the construction of the existing glazing, to make it look unobtrusive, inconspicuous and effective. Choosing the correct system is critical; our Technical Team will ensure that the right system is selected to suit your individual requirements once the existing glazing configuration is established.
