Selwood

Selwood is the only UK Company that designs, manufactures, hires and sells a full range of pumps.  Now acknowledged as one of the UK leaders in this particular field, the pumps are produced in the Selwood factory at Chandler's Ford, Hampshire.

Its extensive range, suitable for almost every service and maintenance application, is currently being utilsed throughout industry.  These include, among others, the petrochemical industry, shipyards, water treatment works, abattoirs, paper mills, breweries, and utilities as well as in opencast mining and sand and gravel extraction plus general industry.

The pumps are capable of moving a variety of substances including bentonite, water, solids, sludge, slurries, oil and sewage.

Operating from a nationwide network of branches, Selwood has developed its specialist pump hire division and has subsequently become one of the largest pump hirers in the UK following a period of exceptional growth and increase in market share.

Selwood has a strategy of providing a quality service tailored to customer needs and is proud to be one of the few companies within the UK pump industry that holds full accreditation to ISO9001:2000.  The accreditation encompasses all locations and  covers every operation within the company.

In 2003 Selwood launched a new comprehensive compact range of pumps with more versions being introduced shortly.
