Reduc Foundation 35 & 39

Reduc Foundation 35 and 39 are high performance structural acoustic flooring products. The two substrate layers of moisture-resistant chipboard are separated by visco-elastic sound-damping strips. The upper face is tongue and grooved for ease of fitting whilst the underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt.

Reduc Foundation 35 and 39 damp vibration and attenuate airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors. Both have excellent sound reduction characteristics.



Reduc Foundation 35 is suitable for use as a structural floor finish on new and existing timber joists up to 
450mm centres, whilst Reduc Foundation 39 is designed for use on timber joists up to 600mm centres. The boards can be supplied with an optional protective film on the upper surface to keep the chipboard clean prior 
to occupancy.

The moisture-resistant upper surface means Reduc Foundation 35 and 39 can be used throughout the 
building, including kitchens and bathrooms. Both load bearing and non-load bearing partitions can be 
constructed off Reduc Foundation 35 and 39.


Reduc Strata

Reduc Strata is a high performance acoustic overlay flooring product. The top layer of moisture-resistant, medium density fibreboard is isolated from a layer of moisture-resistant chipboard by visco-elastic sound damping strips. Acoustic felt on the underside of the composite board provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure.

Reduc Strata is designed to damp vibration and attenuate airborne sound and impact noise passing through separating floors. It is suitable for use as an overlay on new and existing timber and concrete floors.


The moisture-resistant upper surface means Reduc Strata can be used throughout the building, including 
kitchens and bathrooms, whilst the acoustic felt on the underside will contour over minor irregularities in the 
surface of the floor being treated.


Reduc Micro 17

Reduc Micro 17 is a high performance acoustic overlay flooring system. The substrate layers of moisture-resistant, medium density fibreboard are separated by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside facing incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure.

Reduc Micro 17 damps vibration and attenuates both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors. It is designed to give excellent sound reduction with minimum height loss within rooms.


It is suitable for use as an overlay product on new and existing timber and concrete floors
