The company's expertise in design and manufacture is the result of many years of experience. In the early 1960s Frontier Gate systems and Pitts Security were founded. In 1991 these companies merged and became Frontier-Pitts, which continues to meet perimeter security needs throughout the UK and the rest of the world. More than 25% of the production is exported around the World and the company has equipment installed in more than 87 countries worldwide. Offices in France, Hong Kong and China ensure that Frontier-Pitts is at the cutting edge of the European and Asian marketplaces. From the UK headquarters in Crawley, Sussex, Frontier-Pitts can provide a complete range of services including design, site surveys, manufacture, installation, civil and electrical services, maintenance, spares, repair or refurbishment and full project management, all backed up by a fully comprehensive customer service programme. Frontier Pitts three product ranges ensure any requirement is fulfilled: AT Range: high-security Anti Terra Series, crash tested in accordance with BSi PAS 68:2007, stopping 7,500kg travelling at 50mph. The range includes the Terra Gate which is the first gate in the world to be successfully crash tested in the fully-closed and half-open positions. The gate remained fully functional after impact. Frontier Pitts HD (Heavy Duty) product range includes the LoTracker and LiteTracker security sliding gates. The PC (Parking Control) product range includes automatic rising arm security barriers, rising kerbs and manual equipment. Frontier Pitts are accredited to ISO 9001.
