In 1986, Heckmondwike FB was the first wholly fibre bonded carpet manufacturer to receive accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001 quality standard. In June 2004, Heckmondwike FB again led the way in UK Fibre Bonded manufacturing by gaining the full accreditation to the Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001. In July 2007 all Heckmondwike FB product ranges tested by BRE Certification Ltd have been certified with an 'A' rating in the BRE Green Guide to Specification.
