Balustrade industry leaders Q-railing have ventured into the world of CPD. The company known worldwide for its unique approach to balustrades have launched their RIBA approved CPD entitled Modular Stainless Steel Railing Systems.
The online seminar gives architects the opportunity to see the benefits of a modular approach to railing solutions and the aesthetic potential of stainless steel. Q-railing demonstrate how using a modular system does not mean an architect has to forgo their design, as the modularity of the ranges can create the exact look that is desired.
Online learners can discover the flexibility of modular railing systems and endless design options as well as assembly techniques and the importance of quality, safety and building regulations. As members of the British Stainless Steel Association, the company provides in-depth detail on the grades of stainless steel used in their systems and their suitability in various environments. They also quash the myth that a stainless steel system in ‘stain free’ by explaining how certain environments and situations can cause tea staining and light corrosion if materials are not conditioned correctly.
Q-railing Sales and Marketing Manager Martyn Eveleigh, said “Having advertised within RIBA’s support network for several years we’re pleased to be offering a Q-railing CPD. I believe this seminar bridges the gap between the applied knowledge of an architect and the onsite experience of a site manager, helping architects to have a better understanding of the technical side of different environments and materials. We hope this will be the first of several successful CPD seminars that cover all aspects of railing systems and demonstrate the knowledge and expertise that Q-railing stands for.”
